What is active rehab?
Active rehab is a customized recovery exercise program that specifically addresses injuries. Whether you are recovering from chronic injury due to a motor vehicle accident (MVA), or you need minor postural corrections causing you aches and pains, Karp Rehabilitation can help!
When beginning active rehab, a full assessment is taken to locate and identify functional limitations/abilities. An individualized program will be created based on the nature of the injury, as well as your occupational and leisure activities. Furthermore, your exercise history, and injury history are taken into account when creating a comprehensive recovery plan.
Here at Karp Rehabilitation, your recovery is our priority and that’s why our treatment program is always one-on-one. Our active rehab program can help with postural imbalances, core stability, and other muscle imbalances. Strength training protocols are adapted and managed progressively to effectively target your muscles in the process. Our end goal is to restore your standard of living by strengthening stability, mobility, endurance, and more!
Kinesiologists
Our kinesiologists are university educated experts in physiology, anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise prescription. By working with a kinesiologist at one of our eleven gym locations, both you and your trainer will benefit by effectively targeting specific muscles & muscle groups.
